Get Involved!Volunteers are an intrinsic and valued part of our Foundation. The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation's national network of over 500 volunteers help us to raise funds as well as carry out initiatives toward achievement of our Mission. This important group also helps to educate the public, health care stakeholders and communities on the value of timely and accessible orthopaedic care. Fund-raising volunteers plan our Hip Hip Hooray! community walks which are as much celebrations and public awareness initiatives as they are fund-raising events. Support volunteers share their experiences with patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery to help prepare them for their recovery and freedom ahead. Outreach volunteers share their communication skills through speaking at events, mining information to better tailor our programs, or organize advocacy efforts on public policy issues. Consider sharing your skills and experience with the Foundation in pursuit of excellence in bone and joint health, mobility and function for all Canadians. Let us know you're interested, by following the links below. When sending an email, please ensure you include your full name, mailing address and a daytime phone number so we know how to contact you.
