Canadian Orthopaedic Research Legacy (CORL)

What legacy will you leave?

Reliable long term funding for orthopaedic research is a necessity for propelling the profession forward to best practices and continuous innovation. The Canadian Orthopaedic Research Legacy program enables orthopaedic surgeons to make designated donations to ensure continued Canadian research in orthopaedics. Anyone can donate through CORL, however the founding of this special fund is open only to surgeons and residents to March 31, 2005.

***Founding Contributors category closed. Check back for updates. CORL designated donations can be made at any time, simply click on Donate.***

Create an enduring legacy to your profession by becoming a Founding Contributor. Your donation of $300 ($50 for residents) or more made by March 31, 2005 will ensure you are recognized as a Founding Contributor. Founding Contributors will be listed on the Foundation's Wall of Fame at the COA AGM, and receive a special "Founding Contributor" lapel pin. Contribution levels will be recognized in various publications, at special meetings, and in the Foundation's annual report.

The Foundation's goal is to raise $100,000 by March 31, 2005 through one-time cash donations, annual and deferred gifts.

Donation levels are as follows:

Summa Cum Laude - $5,000 or more
Magna Cum Laude - $2,500 to 4,999
Cum Laude - $1,000 to $2,499
Honour Roll - $500 to $999
Supporting Contributor - to $499
Resident Contributor - $50

Donors of one-time or multi-year (maximum of five years) cash gifts of $20,000 or more or deferred gifts of $50,000 or more using trusts, bequests or insurance will join the exclusive Heritage Circle.
