Grants and Awards Application Instructions

The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation invites application for grants and awards in the area of orthopaedic research. The Executive members of the Canadian Orthopaedic Research Society review submitted applications and successful applications are presented to the Executive of the Foundation for confirmation prior to final approval.

There are two categories in which you may apply for funding:

  1. J. Edouard Samson Award
  2. Research Grants

2006 Grant Application Instructions

Terms and Conditions for Research Grants

The deadline for applications for 2006 grants and awards is:

J. Edouard Samson Award: February 15, 2006. The recipient will be notified by April 30, 2006. The recipient will present his/her research as a major lecture at the 2006 annual meeting of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association.

All other Research Grants and Special Awards: February 28, 2006
