Patient Education

The Foundation is committed to the development of information that will educate patients and their families about their orthopaedic treatment. The materials in this section are intended to increase your confidence and comfort with your treatment.

The musculoskletal system is a complex system that includes bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves. Orthopaedics is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of injuries and diseases of the body's musculoskeletal system.
